Sensational! If I were inclined to envy, I would envy your talent.

I am inclined to envy and I envy your talent enormously... for whatever reasons I can't draw worth a burnt skillet of baked beans. So when I see that people, like your good self, can fill up whole sketch books with the most beguiling and beautiful creations like this, I am in awe... bravo Gwen, it looks like you are just having too much fun. Now, important question : What's in that keg, and where is the mug to go with it ??? ;-)

It's just beautiful.

Thank you all, my dears.. I wish the photograph was a little clearer.. not so good trying to take a detailed picture on a very overcast dull day with natural light when I have questions about my camera and I need better glasses.... enough excuses tho! .. but the days are getting longer now so that's a positive thing.... and Owen, funny you should ask, I did a mug the night before last...

Wow! That's a fantastic page. It would look great as a poster to hang on the wall too I think.

Boys oh boys! That's some fun you've got going on there. Funny how one thing leads to another...I wonder what an analyst would make of the associations. But ours is not to wonder why but to merely enjoy.

wonderful... I have a wall you can cover with doodles, if you're not too busy.

Haha.. Thank you. it would be dangerous to analyze artsy peoples brains... long, winding, steep, twisted, forked journeys... wouldn't trade it tho.

What a fun & fantastic journal page!! I spent a good while looking at each thing and each little doodled illustration brought a smile to my face. I LOVE the steeples!! Your lettering is great too. So inspiring to see your work. I'll be back. xoxo

This would make a beautiful silk scarf design.

Fasinating page. It kept me busy for a long time absorbing each nuance. I love the vibrant colours, the varied creations and trying to discern how one links to another. Great creative fun! Thanks.

So much fun to let my eye just wander around this astounding page!
I love lettering, an unexplored element in my own painting!

Love love love love love! I love lettering too, and this is just SO satisfying, Gwen. From fish to dogs to hummingbirds, and all that is between, I feel inspired. I think I would find something new if I gazed at this page 100 times. Love your work.

Love your style, trains of thought and observations. I love words, love wordsmithing and of course my own art and craft efforts but oh how I wish I could draw and paint like this!

delightful! btw, I saw someone wearing your earrings and recognized the design right away. I guess she's from your area and got them for Christmas.

Thanks so much, everyone... I always find this time of year is a good time to explore... but it's hard to narrow it down to just a few things.

Oh Gwen you have received an award on my blog. Come and pick it up when you can.
